1991 - Joined Seamless Tubes Karate club (SKIEF) under Sensei's Kelvin Raynor 5th Dan & Steve Carless 6th Dan.

 

1994 - Awarded Shodan by Hanshi Asano 9th Dan (SKIEF)

 

1996 - Shiro Asano National Championships Team Kumite Champion

 

1997 - Awarded Nidan by Hanshi Asano 9th Dan (SKIEF)

 

1998 - Represented SKIGB at 8th SKIEF European

Championships, Sheffield, England

 

2000 - Awarded Sandan by Hanshi Asano 9th Dan (SKIEF).

 

Represented SKIGB at 7th SKIF World Championships, Bali, Indonesia

 

Joined Walsall School of Shotokan Karate under Sensei Steve Carless 6th Dan, after relocating to Walsall.

 

2001 - Represented SKIGB at 9th SKIEF European

Championships, Copenhagen, Denmark. 


2003 - Represented SKIGB at 8th SKIF World

Championships, South Africa.


2004 - Awarded Yondan by Hanshi Asano 9th Dan (SKIEF). Ratified in 2016 by Sensei Masao Kagawa 8th Dan JKS in Japan.


Shiro Asano National Championships Team Kumite Champion.

 

SKIGB National Championships Team Kumite Champion

 

Represented SKIGB at 10th SKIEF European

Championships, Odessa, Ukraine.

 

2005 - SKIGB National Championships Team Kumite Champion

 

2006 - Relocated to SKIGB club in Grimsby.

 

Represented SKIGB at 9th SKIF World Championships Tokyo, Japan.

 

Left SKIEF after being disillusioned with it's direction.

 

Joined the newley formed association SCUKO under Sensei Steve Carless 6th Dan.

 

Kaizen No-Michi was formed.

 

2007 - Awarded Instructor Level 1 by Sensei Carless 6th Dan.

 

2009 - Awarded Instructor Level 2 by Sensei Carless 6th Dan.

 

2010 - Awarded NELSA Sports Coach of the year.

Awarded Instructor Level 3 by Sensei Carless 5th Dan.

 

2011 - SCUKO joined JKS (Japan Karate Shotorenmei)

 

JKS Ireland Spring Championships. Mens 40+ Individual

Kumite Champion.

 

Represented JKS England at 2011 JKS World

Championships, Edinburgh 


2016 - Awarded Yondan Grade Ratification at Teikyo University, Japan by Shihan Masao Kagawa 8th Dan JKS


2017 - Awarded Godan by Shihan Masao Kagawa 8th Dan JKS
