Despite the forecast warning of heavy rain, the weather had other ideas as the sun shone brightly for our annual Karate Bears on the Beach event at Cleethorpes Beach.

Every year, this special event brings together students, parents and families from Kaizen No-Michi School of Shotokan Karate for a relaxed day of fun, friendship and karate by the sea. It perfectly reflects what our club is all about – developing martial arts skills while building a supportive community.

Fun Games to Start the Day

The day began with plenty of fun as Andy Sensei organised a variety of games on the beach. Everyone enjoyed taking part, proving that karate is something the whole family can enjoy together.

Karate Training on Cleethorpes Beach

Following the games, Ben Sensei led a series of enjoyable Karate drills. Training on the sand added a new challenge, helping students develop balance, coordination and strong stances while enjoying the fresh sea air.

One of the highlights of the day was seeing so many parents joining in. Whether practising basic techniques or simply having fun with their children, everyone embraced the spirit of the event.

Thank You

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the day another fantastic success. Your enthusiasm and support are what make Kaizen No-Michi such a welcoming karate family.

We are already looking forward to next year's Karate Bears on the Beach!
